Fr. Daniel Meyer is the priest and pastor of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church in West Chester, PA, and was assigned there under His Grace, Bishop Thomas in 2011. His undergraduate studies were in Social Work, and in 2011 he received a Master in Divinity with Honors from St. Tikhon’s Orthodoxy Theological Seminary (South Canaan, PA). His graduate thesis was entitled, Practicing the Remembrance of God with the Whole Man.
Fr. Daniel is a founder and developer of Crown Them with Glory (crownthem.org), a project toward educating the faithful in the Church’s teachings on traditional marriage and sexuality. He also serves as a clergy sponsor for Orthodox college student groups at both West Chester University and Eastern University. Fr. Daniel teaches high school and middle school catechism and church history for St. Raphael School (raphaelschool.org): an Orthodox Christian school for classical education.
Fr. Daniel is married to Presbytera Elizabeth (2005), and together, they have five children.
